My daughter has been having Tutoring with Sarah for 10 months. Sarah was recommended to me through another parent at our school.

My daughter was behind in both Maths and English and struggles with concentration. Sarah recognised after a few weeks of teaching my daughter, that she was easily distracted and takes her time to process questions and answers.

She was able to work with her and help her to recap the work that had been covered in school that my daughter hadn't grasped. She made the work enjoyable using visual cards and rewards to keep my daughter interested.

Sarah has been tutoring our two Year 5 sons for 9 months now. After a particularly turbulent academic year last year, we were incredibly fortunate to find Sarah. Sarah is very professional; we had a preliminary meeting to check qualifications in advance of engagement and for her to meet the boys.

Sarah was quick to reassure us that the boys weren’t too far behind and that they would catch up. Sarah is particularly warm and engaging with them and plays to their strengths as well as identifying their challenges and supporting and working through these in an enthusiastic way.

She is also happy to apply persuasion when needed or when the boys are cheeky. Each week our boys look forward to their weekly sessions which Sarah varies and makes enjoyable.

We feel very fortunate to have found Sarah and we would love for her to continue into Year 6 with them.

Sarah has been amazing with our 7 year old son, she is very patient and makes learning fun. He has come on so much since Sarah has been tutoring him.
